I clearly remember the first time I stumbled upon the envelope containing photos of me as a new baby. They weren't professional - just snapshots of me arriving home, me with my excited big brother, me and my tiny button nose - but they were instantly among my most treasured possessions. They are me before my own memory. They are the beginning of the story that has led me to where I am today.

These photos inspired my approach to newborn photography.  

I have a BA in Photography and over 12 years experience, but I think I’ve learned just as much from snuggling my own little ones. There is something nearly sacred about the way the world shrinks down to the walls of your home after having a baby, with that marvelous combination of being both blissfully happy and deeply exhausted.

My approach to newborn photography is different than most, and focuses on the layer of love found in the quiet, in-between moments. 

I don't do lots of posing or bring arbitrary props. I come to your home and document your daily life amongst the items you carefully chose out for your baby, so that someday when your child wants you to tell them their own story you can say,
"Let me show you”.
